OUR HISTORY

SAMA Maschinenbau GmbH has been founded in 1996, after Netzsch Keramische Verfahrenstechnik, Selb, has been sold to a Chinese company. The operation has been started in the buildings of the bankrupt company Messrs. Voit in Weissenstadt.

The employees from the beginning were people who have had a large experience in producing ceramic machinery, due to their activity for many years at Netzsch Keramische Verfahrenstechnik and Voit Keramikmaschinenbau.
A completely new production programme with own profile has been elaborated, based on experience, inventiveness and readiness for action.

When SACMI joined in June 1997, SAMA got essential backing in both the worldwide sales net of the SACMI group, financing of projects and also the knowledge of the SACMI specialists in the field of setting up complete plants. Today, SAMA is the specialist for machinery and plants for tableware industry and technical ceramics. However, technical ceramics is covered in particular within the framework of  "TEAM" together with other specialists of SACMI group.

In November 2002, SAMA took over assets, know how, technical documents and patents from the bankrupt’s estate of Thuringia Netzsch, Selb and Sonneberg.  
Besides their own programme, SAMA is in a position to offer and deliver all machines and plants which have been produced earlier by the companies Netzsch Keramische Verfahrenstechnik, Maschinenfabrik Zeidler, Maschinenfabrik Thuringia Netzsch and Maschinenbau Voit. Moreover, the service and the supply of spare parts for this machinery programme is guaranteed. Simultaneously, a considerable rise of business capital was effected.

In 2005/2006 a new production hall and a new office building for the sales department were built. After the completion of these civil works SAMA was able to concentrate its activities at one location and close the other locations "Weißenstadt II", "Kirchenlamitz" and "Marktleuthen".

Acquisition and modernisation of the extruder programme of GRIESE/DORSCH for the production of stoneware pipes.

The new R&D Center with laboratory and pilot plant was established to enhance development and testing  tools, high pressure casting moulds and ceramic products .

Tool manufacturing department renovated.
